The company was founded by Oskar Lapp in 1957, its debut product being the ÖLFLEX® control cables, a novelty in the industry. Lapp Group manufactures cable and cable accessories for different industries and markets such as mechanical and systems engineering, automotive industry, MSR technology, electrical and plumbing engineering.

Lapp Cable manufactures 40,000 standard products at its own factory of the Lapp Group. The company also develops cable and cable equipment to meet customers’ specific needs.

Lapp Group currently has 15 production facilities, 100 sales channels and 41 sales organizations worldwide, with a global network of 3,000 employees.
